Kids and parents work hard all week with distance learning, working, and navigating a new normal. That hard work should be rewarded with a little time when kids can be kids and parents can have a break -- that's why we have FRIDAY CAMPS! Friday Camps for kids ages 5 to 14 to come to GymStars to have social time in a physically distancing environment -- and a safe environment! As part of our Stockton Healthy Pledge, we are committed to keeping kids safe and our facility sanitized. Also, as part of our GymStars pledge -- we also are about having a place where kids can be kids and can Reach for the Stars!
At Friday Camps, the kids can put their books away, forget about homework, and just play (safely) with other kids (physically distanced). There is a limit for how many kids we can register (to keep to physical distancing) so make sure to enroll early! There will be a prescreen at the door that will include a temperature check, Covid-19 question screening, sanitization process, and, of course, masks must be worn as you enter the facility. But after that - it's all about the fun!
Themes will be incorporated to add to the fun! Watch for opportunities to dress up or play games centered on a theme that will have kids super excited!

We are doing our best to not only meet the needs of our parents but most importantly, meet the needs of the kids in our community. Safety and good health are at the top of our concerns, but with those needs being met, the next priority is the well-being of kids and helping them be resilient, happy, adaptable, motivated, and to succeed in ever-changing environments. No matter the circumstances, we want kids to know they can "REACH FOR THE STARS".
